<image:title>Approach - let’s hold it together.</image:title>
<image:caption>A person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity; a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material; a continually changing constellation of potentialities, not a fixed quantity of traits. —Carl Rogers My approach to therapy is relational and collaborative. We don’t become who we are in a vacuum so it’s hard to heal in one. We will delve into the culture and background that shaped you as well as the larger societal systems that have impacted you. My work is grounded in an awareness and understanding of these systems and how their effects ripple through generations. Areas of focus for my practice include grief, disability, chronic illness, body acceptance & neutrality, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, diasporic identity, and climate anxiety. I know what it’s like to try to hold everything together alone. It’s lonely and overwhelming. Together we can co-create a space where we can hold anything you bring in. There is no issue or feeling too big, too much, or too messy that we can’t hold together.</image:caption>

<image:title>Approach - healing-centered virtual therapy.</image:title>
<image:caption>At this time, my practice is virtual which means I’m able to connect with clients across Ontario as opposed to just in the city I live. I love being able to reach individuals in communities outside of my own. I practice from a private space (with a strong internet connection!) within my home. As many of us have learned in the past few years, a reality of working from home is that occasionally very human moments can happen, like a pet (my sweet cat Dolly pictured here) wandering into frame. I welcome these moments from my end and yours as another way to connect therapeutically and build an even stronger bond as therapist and client. I’d like to take this space to recognize and acknowledge that despite my practice being virtual, I’m a settler practicing on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississaugas. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee, Mississaugas, and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. I further acknowledge that this land is covered by the Toronto Purchase Treaty, 1805, between the Crown and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.</image:caption>
